seafood products for the US Department of Commerce. To her credit are two patents
in the field of pollution control. She has setup two laboratories for compliance
purposes in the industrial sector. The laboratory installations included the
operation and methods development of GC, GCMS, HPLC and wet chemistry analysis,
while utilizing multiple respirometers. She has been both a permit writer in
the state of Mississippi and corporate waste management administrator for a
fortune 500 company. B.J. oversees the day-to-day operations of the respirometric

– Vice President/CFO
Jerry began his career with an international CPA firm. Subsequent to this experience
he began a consulting firm offering chief financial officer/business management
expertise to businesses and organizations. After 30 years of experience and
responsibility for the financial, business and systems development for numerous
multi million dollar startup organizations, he recognized the need for and
the lack of customer service oriented laboratories. Jerry visualized a “consulting
lab” that actually focused on client needs and concerns. The new corporation, RespirTek™,
would focus on hiring the best potential staff team members with a commitment
to long-term successful client relationships.
– Engineering Manager
Jim graduated Cum Laude from the prestigious Dave C. Swalm School of Chemical
Engineering at Mississippi State University and brings experience in both the
process and environmental engineering fields to the RespirTek team. Jim has
been a contributor in both industry and regulatory agencies. He was a Process
Engineer at a national petrochemical facility and also worked as an Environmental
Engineer at the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality. Jim brings
exceptional analytical methodology to the process design and engineering involved
in our site evaluation and microcosm development. His previous experience as
a state regulator brings valuable consultation along with a wide array of different
approaches to handling environmental issues. Having seen both sides of today’s
environmental issues and projects, he has developed a comprehensive perspective
that provides added value to our clients. Jim’s environmental experience
ranges from extensive field supervision of assessment and remediation of contaminated
sites to conceptual design and applied research. At RespirTek, each project
is unique and involves a fresh conceptual design. An integral part of conceptual
design is communication, and as Engineering Manager, Jim holds a pivotal position
at RespirTek. He thrives on the interaction and communication with clients.
